Indiana Building Souvenir, Louisiana Purchase Exposition
Description:
This booklet contains information pertaining to the Indiana building at the 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition held in St. Louis, Missouri. Two pictures of the building (one exterior, the other interior) can be found in the booklet. T. C. Steele was on the committee of artists, and his work was exhibited in the building. Some of the original manuscripts on display were those of General Lew Wallace, Susan Arnold Elston Wallace, Meredith Nicholson, and Maurice Thompson. Book by Mary Hannah Krout and Caroline Virginia Krout (Caroline Brown) were also included in a collection of Indiana literature in the building. The booklet is 10 pages in length, and its file size as a pdf is 21 MB.

The Art Association of Indianapolis published this booklet between 1891 and 1892. It includes a list of their officers, committees, and members for those years. T. C. Steele delivered a speech before the group on 1892-02-09. Also, T. C. Steele, Lew Wallace, and Susan Arnold (Elston) Wallace were considered honorary members of the organization.
